Brucella Abortus

Brucella abortus - is the bacteria most often associated with the brucellosis bacterial infection causing the symptoms of fistulous withers.

Fistulous withers is a severe, painful inflammatory infection of the supraspinous bursa in the animals withers (horse, donkey, etc), often leading to chronic abscesses and draining tracts.

Typically caused by a trauma, the bacteria Brucella abortus, causes swelling, heat, and pain.

Conventional treatment usually involves surgical excision, antibiotics, and drainage, with a guarded prognosis, as recurrence is not uncommon.

Several years ago, I was brought a case of fistulous withers in a donkey.

The client who contacted me for homeopathic treatment for her donkey back then recently returned for a new, different appointment.

She shared that her donkey is still alive and doing very well with no recurrent expression of the condition treated, as is the entire herd doing well.

The fistulas withers cleared during our treatment, with no other interventions, and has remained clear.

Homeopathic treatment is always individualized or sometimes taken as a ‘genus epidemicus' situation. In this case we directly treated the donkey with symptoms. Then we treated the water trough for the herd using the Homeoprophylaxis approach.

Homeopathic treatment when based on symptom similarity stimulates the innate ( T1 branch) immune system and healing follows, from the inside out.

It was great news to hear her donkey and the herd are healthy and happy to this day.
